A heritage brand started in 1985, Sara Campbell’s namesake label is all about creating timeless silhouettes, femininity, and classic wardrobe pieces for the modern woman.
Sara Campbell has upheld a distinct and well-known mission in the fashion industry based on excellent customer service, philanthropic giving, and manufacturing in the USA.
We had the joy of working alongside Sara and her marketing team for 2.5 years as an outside consultant and designer handling all email marketing, social media marketing, messaging, and building out a sustainable in-house marketing team.

BRAND POSITIONING
When we joined the SC team in 2020, their E-Commerce site was only 2 months old. Built out of necessity from the pandemic, Sara’s 26 storefronts were closed and sales moved online. I had the task of figuring out what this 36 year old brand looks like digitally, what is their digital home like? What is their voice? What is their strategic advantage and how are their customers behaving?
ART DIRECTION
In addition to discovering all of the above, the brand launched multiple collections a year, calling for lots of photo assets. From white background E-Comm shots to styled lifestyle shoots, we handles pre-production, art directed on set, and then were in charge of turned these assets into content post-production.
EMAIL & SOCIAL MARKETING
The brand had a decently sized email list at the start of 15k emails and today around 40k email subscribers. We fully managed the social media accounts, creating content and writing captions, we ideated the annual marketing calendar, ideating campaigns and sales, we execute 1 email a day and over 10 email automations. Email grew to become the 2nd most profitable channel next to in-store sales.
SCALABILITY
My hope is to not only provide continuous value to clients, but allow them to flourish sustainably overtime. Within 2 years, I had grown the brand’s marketing efforts to a point where the position needed to be full time in-house with the amount of time required to execute. I helped in hiring the new position, training, and eventually passing the baton fully off to the brand.

750+ email campaigns made, dozens of automations, 2 million in sales, thousands of new subscribers, and one even bolder brand.
We spearheaded campaigns with strategic product focuses based on sales and popularity such as our best-selling pant program, wedding guest dresses, and classic tunics. I ideated one-of-a-kind sale promotions that broke online sale records at the time, including our annual Super Bowl Sale.
This classic Americana brand has stood the test of time and will for decades to come.
